Success is knowing you made the world better in some way, by helping others succeed.
Jim Fei and George Thornley started Life Cycle Engineering in 1976 with the dream of creating a company and culture that put people first – people helping people – at the core of their mission.
It started by extending the asset life cycle of the U.S. Navy’s nuclear submarine fleet. From there, LCE expanded into delivering engineering and reliability services for the U.S. military and global commercial operations.
Today, Life Cycle Engineering has brought together the best and the brightest from the military, civil service, industry, and academia to help people and organizations achieve their full performance capabilities.
Our team has been in the trenches, responsible when things don’t go as planned, reliable when failure is not an option.
Why do we do it?
We come from the public and private sectors that we serve: Decades of hands-on experience with the Department of Defense, Offices of the Federal Government, and deep understanding of almost every commercial industry.
We are thought leaders: Our experts have a desire to give back to our professional and local communities by instructing, developing apprenticeship and veteran-work support programs, publishing, conference speaking, participating in industry governance organizations and federal advisory boards .
We have a spirit of wanting success for others: LCE’s corporate culture enables our employees to be advisors and friends to each other, clients and competitors alike.
It’s the reason you know we will always do the right thing, the right way. We’re ready to support your success. Let’s talk.
